This page says what flagchess.com collects, what it is used for, and how to be removed. It is written to be read, not skimmed past; it is short because the site does little.
What the site collects
One thing, and only if you give it: the email address you enter in the waitlist form. Nothing else is asked for. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
What it is used for
To tell you when Flag Chess is available to order, and occasionally about the game itself. Nothing else. Addresses are never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own use. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also just reply and say so.
Who handles it
The site is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores form submissions on our behalf and, like any web host, keeps ordinary server logs (such as the address and time of a request). The page’s typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google’s servers receive the usual request information when the page loads. Neither company is given your email address for any purpose of its own.
Removal
To be taken off the list, or to ask what we hold about you, email playflagchess@gmail.com from the address in question. It will be removed, and we will say so.
Children
The waitlist is not meant for anyone under 13. If an address was submitted by a child, email us and it will be removed.
Changes
If the site starts doing more than this, this page will change first, with a new date at the top.
